Hello, I’m Cat Blair, an energy healing practitioner certified in the TOLPAKAN Healing Method and Akashic Records. Since childhood, I’ve felt a profound connection to the Divine. Even as a toddler, I experienced clairvoyance, clairaudience, and claircognizance. I sensed these gifts were meant to help others, but without guidance, I kept them hidden for many years. In 2012, however, I felt Divinely guided toward spiritual teachers who helped me embark on a path of personal growth. With the support of my Spirit Guide, I dedicated years to evolving into a higher version of myself.

Do I Have a Soul?

You don’t have a soul; you are a soul—a vast, eternal spirit being temporarily experiencing life in a human body. Within you resides an ancient, boundless aspect of yourself: your Higher Soul. The earthly part of your Soul yearns for you to break free from the limitations of your current perspective and awaken to the truth of who you are.

Our earthly consciousness is just a small fragment of the Soul's immense vastness. Each Soul was created from a Spark of the Divine, with its true essence deeply rooted in the higher spiritual realms. The Higher Soul embodies the fullness of our true essence—a vast spiritual being of wisdom and Divine purpose. It is within the Higher Soul that our Divine Spark resides.

The deep longing you feel is your Soul’s innate desire to reconnect with your Higher Soul and the Divine. Philo of Alexandria (c. 20BCE-50CE) believed that man's ultimate goal is the "knowledge of the true and living God" (Decal. 81; Abr. 58; Praem. 14). "Such knowledge is the boundary of happiness and blessedness" (Det. 86). To him, mysticism allows our soul to experience the Divine (Ebr. 152) and achieve union with God.

Within you lies the power to forge this powerful union. However, developing this sacred alignment and nurturing it requires a strong commitment to self-discovery and spiritual growth. Your Higher Soul is calling you to break free from pre-conceived notions and embrace the limitless possibilities of your true potential.

Cultivating a relationship with your Higher Soul can profoundly accelerate your awakening and bring about significant liberation. Manifesting

Manifestation is a hot topic in the spiritual arena. Countless books, lectures, and workshops promise to teach you how to manifest, often for significant fees. But here’s something you may not realize: you’ve been manifesting nonstop since the day you were born. Therefore, the idea of being a victim is an illusion. We are never merely victims of our circumstances, as we co-create our reality. What we truly fall victim to is our own limited perception.

The real question isn’t how to manifest—it’s what you’re manifesting, why you’re manifesting it, and what you truly want to manifest.

Manifestation is the result of the interplay between your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. This includes not only your conscious thoughts but also the unconscious ones shaping your reality beneath the surface.

How aware are you of your feelings? Some are obvious, but others might be deeply buried in your subconscious mind. Do you pay attention to the words you speak, the tone you use, and the intention behind them? And when it comes to your actions, do you notice the small, subtle behaviors that may seem insignificant but still contribute to what you manifest?

To manifest something different, you must become different. This means uncovering why you’re manifesting your current reality. True change requires awareness and knowledge. When we transform from the inside out, we naturally align with the energy of love, making manifestation effortless and harmonious without the need to micromanage every thought, word, or action.

So, how can you create meaningful change to manifest your desires? Here are some tools to help shift your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions:

1. Gratitude Journal
Begin by keeping a gratitude journal. Writing down what you’re grateful for can gradually shift your internal state, cultivating feelings of abundance and positivity over time. I recommend this to all my clients as a foundational practice.

2. Visualization
Spend time each day visualizing what you truly desire in vivid detail, as though you already have it. Picture it,
feel it, and then write it down in your journal. Visualization and emotion both help anchor your goals into your subconscious mind.

3. Internal Transformation What about the unconscious thoughts—the ones you can’t simply “push out” because you don’t even realize they exist? Often rooted in fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, anger, sadness, or grief, these deeply embedded patterns can silently hold you back from manifesting your true desires.

Addressing these hidden patterns often requires guidance from someone who can help you explore what lies beneath your awareness. A skilled energy practitioner can assist in uncovering and releasing the emotions, traumas, and beliefs that shape your behaviors and influence your manifestations.

These patterns, whether rooted in this life, a past life, or ancestral trauma, can hold you in the grip of limiting beliefs. By clearing them, you open the door to freedom and the creation of new, empowering patterns that align with the Divine Spark within you. Living in alignment with your Divine Spark allows you to step into your most fulfilled and authentic life.

Can Ancestral Trauma Be Inherited?

For generations, families have passed down patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior. While it’s well understood that families transmit learned behaviors, an intriguing question arises: why do family members who have never met often exhibit similar tendencies? Even children adopted at birth frequently display traits and behaviors aligned with their biological families. What explains this phenomenon?

Scientific research has uncovered a potential answer—trauma can influence DNA. Studies on various organisms, including mice, nematode worms, fruit flies, and humans, reveal that trauma can create lasting genetic changes. For example, researchers in Spain studied C. elegans worms over 14 generations. They discovered that environmental conditions experienced by the first generation altered their DNA, and these changes were inherited by all subsequent generations. (1)

In humans, studying inherited trauma is more complex due to longer generational timelines and the relatively recent discovery of DNA. Still, compelling evidence exists. Dutch famine survivors from 1944–1945 and their descendants, for instance, were found to have increased glucose intolerance in adulthood. (2)

Epigenetics—the study of heritable changes in gene expression that do not involve alterations to the DNA sequence—offers additional insights. Researchers studying the FKBP5 gene, linked to PTSD, depression, and anxiety, observed changes in its methylation among Holocaust survivors. These epigenetic changes were also present in their descendants, highlighting significant implications for other trauma survivors, such as military veterans and their families. (3)

Similarly, studies of children born to parents traumatized by the 9/11 attacks revealed fascinating findings. Babies of mothers who experienced trauma showed lower cortisol levels and reduced methylation (an epigenetic affect) in the NR3C1 gene, while babies of traumatized fathers exhibited increased methylation in the same gene. (4)

In a study at Emory University School of Medicine, male mice were exposed to a mild electric shock while smelling acetophenone, creating a fear response linked to the scent. This experience triggered epigenetic changes, including hypomethylation in the Olfr151 gene. Remarkably, two generations of their offspring also exhibited a fear response to acetophenone, despite never being exposed to the shock themselves or smell themselves. And all three generations showed the same epigenetic changes. The experiment was conducted using in vitro fertilization and cross-fostering. This made it impossible for the fear response or epigenetic changes to be passed on socially. The behavior and epigenetic changes could only have come from the DNA of the original male mice during conception. (5)

In a subsequent study at Emory University School of Medicine, male mice were conditioned with a mild foot shock to fear the smell of acetophenone, then reconditioned later to lose their fear response to the smell of acetophenone. The two generations of offspring conceived after this reconditioning did not have the acetophenone fear response or the epigenetic alterations. (6)

Combat veterans with PTSD were treated with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a Meditation technique. PTSD veterans who responded well to MBSR, showed an increased methylation in their Intron 7 region of FKBP5, an epigenetic change. This region of DNA is part of our stress regulated corticosteroid metabolism. (7)

Another study looked at the DNA methylation of the FKBP5 after Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for agoraphobia with or without panic disorder. Interestingly, those with the greater response to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment for agoraphobia, showed a decrease in methylation at the CpG site of Intron 7 of the FKBP5 gene. (8)

Crucially, evidence suggests that not only trauma, but also trauma reconciliation can influence genetic expression. The above findings confirm that emotional healing – whether from a fear-stress-response, PTSD from combat, or agoraphobia, is reflected in epigenetic changes.

If trauma can alter DNA and its epigenetic regulation, methods that promote healing and reconciliation may potentially reverse these changes, offering transformative benefits across generations.

It is now evident that trauma affects our DNA and its expression, allowing us to inherit patterns of fear, stress, survival instincts, grief, anger, shame, and terror. In my practice, I’ve observed that nearly all my clients carry some form of ancestral trauma. By identifying and releasing these inherited burdens, clients often experience profound improvements in both emotional and physical well-being. Trauma reconciliation doesn’t just liberate individuals—it holds the potential to transform entire family lines.
